HR Generalist Senior

HR generalist position will serve as resource for UK College of Medicine (COM) departments and employees to provide responses to HR questions. Will triage, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues involving compensation, employee relations, employment and other HR areas and when necessary serve as a liaison between the COM department and HR to ensure efficient operations. Provide COM departmental supervisors with coaching related to management and personnel issues, providing recommendations related to corrective action and interpreting policies. Conduct investigations and collaborate with other UK departments such as Compliance, Office of Institutional Equity, etc. Must be knowledgeable of University policies, regulations and labor law. Collaborate with HR Employment staff to develop standards and manage recruitment and interview process for high level positions in College of Medicine; develop initiatives to recruit hard-to-fill positions with successful A-level candidates. Represent HR at various COM meetings; conduct exit interviews & manage data; develop and conduct HR surveys. Exhibit high level customer service orientation for colleagues and customers. Manage, coordinate and work on healthcare HR initiatives including coordination of mergers and acquisitions, development and maintenance of compliance related procedures for COM and employee engagement initiatives. Will participate in, and at times lead committees and task force groups to develop solutions to complex problems. Develop workforce metric reports and scorecard for college leadership, departments and COM HR administrator; analyze workforce metrics for interpretation (trending and identification of significant issues); collaborate with finance team on report development and metrics delivery to departments and leadership. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of human resources experience; a strong emphasis in employee relations preferred.

Salary Range: $34,554-55,287/year
